that's a pretty sweet pic dunl

Thanks. It's wasn't a posed pic, but when I realized I was stuck and not going anywhere, I settled down for some pictures.

I'd also look strongly at gearing for this rig....they're pretty unstable at higher speeds, but I have run mine down the #2 to Bragg Creek without issue. Long as everything is properly set, it should be fine. I'm pretty sure you are a "tow'er" so that might not be an issue.

Check the CJ2A page for some builds....there are a lot of guys on there, and you can get some ideas there. Basically the same rig, so lots of tech info will swap. Also the CJ3B page - tonnes of tech info there.

The thought was to look at yota axles as well as at the begining of the build it will dictate which trans/ transfer case option I choose.

Have a th350/205
Have a th400/ quatra trac and T18

Might as well do diffs right away them :)

a set of 44's out of a scout would be cool as well

The Toys are going to be just as strong if not stronger and they will be lighter.

not to mention the aftermarket has tons of cheap stuff for the toy axles and almost any idiot can set them up.

Buy a 3.8, Speedways adapter to the T350 and 205 and go to town...

Going to look at donor vehicle tomorrow am. Has yota diffs and a th400 adapter to a toyota transfercase (this may give more room). Done lots of Yota gear setups and are very easy.

Starting to get things mocked up. Here is a pic with 38" tires at what I believe the ride height will end up at. Loosing the cute factor :o
