Aproximately one year ago I installed new drive flanges with grease zerks when I did my 35 spline upgrade. I'm happy to report that i have absolutely no contamination to any part of the assembly / bearings including the inner bearings. Lubrication after having hubs packed at install was 6 pumps or so every time I took it for a run.

Conclusion: If you can install grease zerks into existing drive flanges or drill your junk some where some how, do it.
